Hi there, Jarime,
I find that if you change ANY of your "current themes" properties,(minutes to apply SS, desktop background, performance options, etc) sometimes, OK, MOST of the time, it will prevent the SS from coming on, try this, right click your desktop and get to your Display properties box, set the time for your screen-saver, then, go to the themes tab, and click on "save-as" and make up a name or just overwrite the current theme's name, this ALWAYS work's for me, best of luck, Sincerely, Rob

Go to desktop
right click and go to properties
click on your screensaver tab at the top
then below the screen click on the drop down menu
click on the screensaver that you want
then close the dropbox and then go to the right to the time
and click on the time to reset it to 14 minutes and then hit "Apply"
then click ok..
This hopefully will fix your problem..
email me if you have anymore problems
Jarime
