Shutdown Error

EVERY time I try to shut down my machine I get the following Error Message:

A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C2325D72 in VXD hubst(01) +
00002D+2. The current application will be terminated

Press any key to terminate the current application
Press control + alt + delete again to restart your computer. You will
lose any unsaved data.

I'm running windows 95 and am getting worried that my data is going to get corrupted

Can anyone help??????

Windows 95:
To determine which program is causing the shutdown problem, remove the icons from the Startup folder one at a time. To do this:
a. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Taskbar.
b. Click the Start Menu Programs tab, and then click Advanced.
c. Click the plus (+) sign next to the Programs folder in the left-hand column, then click the Startup folder.
d. Drag any icon, one at a time, from the Startup folder in the right-hand column to the Programs folder in the left-hand column and restart the computer.
e. Try to shut down Windows 95. Wait for Windows 95 to shut down.
f. Repeat steps A-E until the shutdown problem no longer occurs and you will then know which program was causing the shut-down problem.

Once the program causing the shutdown problem has been identified, contact the manufacturer of the program for assistance. Or, you might first try to uninstall the offending program and then reinstall it to see if that solves the problem.

Best regards,
Fred
