SM Bus Controller
I'm not very savvy with all the computer terms. I've had problems with sound. Things in e-mail like videos and wav files do not produce sound. However, when I launch a game called War of Warcraft sound does play. I looked at devise manager and I have a problem with SM Bus controller. I've searched for new drivers but can't find them as I don't know who made it.

In order for anyone to be able to assist you with your problem, we need to know what model of Dell PC you have and what OS you're running.

My Vostro 220S had that problem when I installed Vista x64.
I downloaded a driver package from the chipset manufacturer's site and that had the missing SM Bus driver. We need to know your model number to suggest a source.
