Socket 10106 Failed
I recently had a virus infection on my dimension 4500 and while i have been able to clean the virus, I now have an error coming up everytime I boot. The error is "Socket 10106 Failed", then I get no internet connection and my connection tracker shows that the connection is not activated. I have tried to look at various sites for anwers, even here but to avail...
Please help me with finding a solution, I am running Windows XP.

You should probably post this to the software board for the version of windows that you have installed on this system. If you have it you could try a restore point to a time prior to the onset of the problem or a repair install of windows to try to cure this dependent on the version of windows.
