SP3
I have a desktop 9100 Dimension computer. I am using a Linksys router attached to the main computer. My 9100 had an attapter to use to go online. Someone fromLinksys told me to get another type of attapter because Linksys does't work well with Windows XP having the SP3. So I got a Belkin.
My question is this: Does SP3 interfere with having a Linksys adapter? I have asked around and people say they never heard of such a thing.
I would like to put SP3 on the 9100 but I don't want to foul things up.
Please advise me onto what to do.
Thanks!

First this is the Desktop AUDIO section.
The Networking section probably would have been the most appropriate. Not knowing what type of adapter you have we can't say. But, any standard "wired" Ethernet unit should work, regardless of the Operating System. If you decide to repost on the networking section, include the model number and type of Ethernet adapter you have.
