Speaker compatibility

I have a Harman Kardon HK 695 speakers attached to a Dimension 8100. Would these speakers work with a Dimension 9200?

Yes, they are "standard" analog powered speakers and will work with the new PC.

However, since you are going for a new PC, go for a new set of speakers.  Like other products for the PC there have been improvements in PC speaker systems.   I just replaced the defective speakers on my second (mostly test) PC with some inexpensive speakers that were on sale at Best Buy - surprisingly the cheap speakers sound better than the older ($100 at the time) speakers.

Another note, if you are going to buy a new Vista machine, you will need to check the compatibility of your peripherals (printers and scanners) as some are not Vista compatible.

I got my Logitech X-540's a little over a week ago and am well pleased with them. I really noticed a difference with playing MS Flight Simulator.
