Specs for memory modules in Precision 340

Hi

What are the specs for the memory modules in a Precision 340?
I want to upgrade from 2x128MB to 4x256MB and I need to know what to buy.

Thank you,

There are several types that machine can take.  Either ECC or NON ECC and either PC-3200 or PC-4200 DDRII.  I would try www.buymemory.com they should have the answers you are looking for.

Hope this helps

If you're intending to keep the machine for a while, you have a list of possible options.
If the machine has the 850e chipset, you should consider making sure that you purchase 800-40 RAM.
Select a good brand name manufacturer.
The reason for the "40" nano-second speed is because this will work at the 533 Front Side Bus speed required to go to the 3.06Ghz processor.
Otherwise, you will be limited to the 2.8Ghz, 400fsb processor which costs at least as much as the 3.06Ghz, 533fsb processor.
