Stack Error Messages
Can anyone help me with these two messages?
1.Terminating thread due to a stack overflow problem. A VXD, possibly recently installed, has consumed too much stack space. Increase the setting of 'MinSPs' in system, INI or remove recently installed VXD's. there are currently 7 SPs allocated.
2. THERE ARE NO SPARE STACK PAGES.
it may be necessary to increase the setting of 'MinSPs' in SYSTEM.INI to prevent possible stacks faults. There are currently 6 SPs allocated.
One message received yesterday, the second today upon power up
Thanks

1. Go to Start > Run then type in 'msconfig' (without the quotes).
2. When the window comes up click on the 'System.ini' tab.
3. Scroll down to the [386Enh] section and click on the '+' sign.
4. Look down the list for an entry that looks like:
MinSPs=7
If you find it click on 'Edit' button and change the 7 to a 9.
5. If you don't find the entry then hightlight the [386Enh] line then click on the 'New' button.
6. When the little box appears type in:
MinSPs=9 (Exactly like that)
Then hit enter, OK out and reboot.
