Start Up Problems - Hibernate?

Got a new Dell 4100, Windows ME. All of a sudden I am having problems when I power up after a complete (successful) shutdown. The computer gives me a message saying it cannot restore from Hibernate. This never use to happen, but is happening each time I boot up now. Has anyone seen this happen or know what is going on?
