Steady blue light from tower even when computer is shut down?
There is a steady blue light coming from inside my tower even after it's shut down. I'm sure it's not on Standby since I always manually select Shut Down to be sure. Is there any way to turn this light off? Any help would be appreciated.

You should mention your model computer and operating system as well as what you mean by "inside the tower." Is it the Start Button that's blue? Check all the settings in Power Settings to see what your computer does when you shutdown. It sounds like your computer is not actually shutting off

I'm running an XPS 730 with Vista. I've attached pics of the light while the computer is supposedly shut down. If there's any other info I can provide that can help, please let me know.

Here's a picture of a blue light that stays lit 24/7 from the inside flap from the front of the tower.

Try 'Device Manager', right click 'Computer' and select 'Device Manager', or download Belarc Advisor HERE

NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz
Is that what you need?

I've tried it and it works, I've been stuck on it long.
