stop error screen inaccessible _boot_device

hi-

i have a dell demension 8100 and i installed the iomega zip drive software, when it was time to shut down and restart, i connected the zip drive to the back. (which was probably a mistake)...

anyhow, when i restarted the computer. a blue screen came up with this error message:

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps,

Check for virus on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminted. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer

Problem is that i every time i start my computer this blue screen comes on. Please help!
