The Stop Ox00000008E error message usually indicates theres a problem in one or more of your memory modules. If i were you, send the PC back if its only 2 weeks old.
But you said it only happened when you installed that game?
Applications can also interfere with Windows Memory Space and when that happens it can cause the system to fault. Uninstall the game and see if it happens again.
Also once installin the game again make sure you have the latest video card drivers.
Have you resovled your problem? I have the same problem. Microsoft has a hotfix 892489. I sent them a message to find out how to get the hotfix. Haven't heard anything as of yet.
