"Support" for Visioneer One Touch 9220 USB scanner?

Has anyone EVER located a site for support from Visioneer (other than a non toll-free phone number)?
Mine stopped working on my Dimension 4600.

No...Been there done that... but thanks anyway. I'm looking for a way to get support for this device without having to make a long-distance phone call if possible.
 
FWIW, when I purchased the scanner thru Dell, I registered it for warranty, etc. But if I login to Visioneer's site, it shows no products registered!
 
Also, they show my model as being "out of production". SHOCKING!:smileyindifferent:

I have the 9220 also, it's sitting in my garage. I bought it at OfficeMax like 3-4years ago. Never had a problem with it until I went to Vista. Now it collects dust. Good luck though.

Tech Support sent me to a "different Department", who then sent me to another Department........

What support are you trying to get, exactly?(what's wrong with the scanner?)

It stopped working about 6-7 months ago. I thought for  a long time that the PC was malfunctioning, but Dell remotely checked out the PC about a month ago, and said it was OK.
 
One day it just would not power up, PC would not see it in the hardware devices, etc., etc.
 
Figures that the piece of junk would stop working about 3 months out of warranty! :smileymad:

I noticed on the website that Visioneer Corporate is in Pleasanton, CA. Which is a local call for me. I called their customer service number and they informed me that they have no toll-free phone number for neither customer service or technical support. Sorry, the posted phone numbers on the website are the only one's available.
