System Clock a Day Ahead

About once a week my system clock shows that it is the next day. I reset the date and time properties only to have it do it again in a few days. The time is always correct. This has occurred on two motherboards. Dell replaced the original board after a close lightning strike messed up my on-board network card. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Can we assume you've selected the correct time zone for your location by right-clicking the clock, selectling Adjust Date/Time, and clicking the Time Zone tab? And is the clock correctly set for AM vs PM?

If that's all set correctly, click Internet Time tab and uncheck box "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server". If the problem is resolved, you can recheck that box and try using a different time server.

That didn't work. Could it be the motherboard battery?
