Idle = not doing anything. McShield is likely something to do with McAfee antivirus software. Is there a problem? If so, what is it. If McShield is running all of the time, then, yes, there may be a problem, but only if you notice something that is not working or is working slowly. The task manager itself can't tell you if there is a problem.
