Wow, it looks to me like you have a hardware issue. What kind of sound/video cards do you have? If you have the GeForce I know that it is a very hot card. Make sure that you computer is in a well ventilated area, and try running your computer with the case off for a bit. Make sure that your computer is in a dust free environment and dont sit it down on the carpet. If it is a heat issue you might want to try getting an aftermarket fan.
One of the best things you can do is get rid of Norton all together. I'd even go into the registery gitting rid of anything to do with Norton. If you downloaded a program or game without shutting down running programs especially Norton or McAfee then you have a problem. Norton gets into everything and messes it up. Theres lots of good programs out there without using Norton or McAfee. Their ok if their working except when you have problems. Then Norton & McAfee are gone. They got their money.
