Touch Screen
I have a Inspiron One. A Dell Serviceman can out to fix my computer, because I had these pink lines running through my screen.
Now my touch screen doesn't work. Do anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?

Hi wmoore67,
The touchscreen may not be working due to following reasons:
1. Touchscreen drivers are missing or corrupt.
2. The touchscreen cable may not be properly seated on the system board.
I am adding you as a friend. Please accept the request and reply through a private message with your computer's 'Service Tag' and the 'Account Holder's' name. Let me check the system's hardware specification, so that I can provide you the download link for the latest touchscreen drivers. If the touchscreen cable's connection is lose, installing drivers will not work. In that case, I will assist you further with best support options. Do reply with the information. I would be glad to assist.

Hi wmoore67,
Thank you for responding. I understand that the touchscreen feature on your computer is not working after the Dell serviceman fixed your system screen. Let us try to configure the touch on the system display screen. Please follow the steps listed below:
1. Click Windows Start button & Access Control panel
2. Select "Tablet PC Settings from the Control Panel"

3. Click on "Calibrate" ***on from the Tablet PC Settings
4. Please tap the Cross Hair(+) with your finger each time it appears on the screen to Calibrate the Touch Screen

5. Follow the onscreen instruction and save the Calibration Data to complete Inspiron One Touch Screen calibration
If the above mentioned steps do not work, it may be due to a lose cable connection inside the computer. In that case, please reply through a private message with the computer's 'Service Tag' and 'Account Holder's' name. Do reply with the results. I would be glad to assist.
