Try Cyberlink PowerCinema.  Same company that makes PowerDVD.

There is a free demo that you can download.
Let me know if it works.

That is not accurate.

Did you even try my suggestion?

Furthermore, you don't have to buy anything from ATI.  MMC is free to download.

It seems that the only way to get tv functions is to buy the version that comes with the tv card...

Can you be more specific with "terrible"? I have the ATI All-In-Wonder Pro 128 on my old Gateway PIII (800MHz) and use the included MMC software with it. I just click on the TV selection and there it is, changes channels and volume fine. Not sure exactly what features you're looking to improve upon.

Sure.  First, it isn't an All-in-wonder, it was a TV wonder.  Second, I had to fix the hyperthreading problem, which I did, no big deal.  Then I had to deal with the fact that the TV only worked after a fresh boot, if I shut down the application at any time, and my screensaver came on, even for a second, then the tv app would fail when trying to restart.  I would have to reboot to use it again.  Also,
I think it is poor design that doesn't allow you to enter a desired channel directly, clicking through 80 channels is just plain dumb, IMHO.

To top it off, I got a BSOD this morning, so thats it for ATI and me!

I know millions of people have NO PROBLEMS with it, I wish I could say the same!

I guess the All-in Wonder must use another software other than the MMC 9.03.  Maybe I'll give that a try, although I may just choose to use a USB tuner/capture device.

Ah, got it. I didn't realize the TV Wonder was all that different from the All-In-Wonder. The All-in-Wonder 128 actually works rather well, allows you to direct input channels (cycling through would tick me off, too) and I've had no problems with it crashing ever. It's also got a neat little feature where if you minimize the window your desktop becomes the TV picture (with icons over it though). You can still find some around here and there for pretty cheap if you want, but there are plenty of good new brands available I'm sure.
