Two monitors?

Question

I have a nVidia 5200 card and want to know whether it is possible to install another monitor and use a dual monitor, single view spread, not the same display on both monitors. I have AVID editing software and the software to spread as single window over both screens. If i can how do I set it up, if not, what card do I neet to do this.... thx.

QED, Sure. It's called Extended mode. To what port on the video card is the current monitor connected?

Sry, just relized put this posting in wrong topic... first time i've every posted ...   Non digital, blue cable...   by the way, haven't bought my xtra monitor yet, should I buy a digital cable and be using the digital imput anyway...?
