Dell 4500. Turned it on yesterday AM and a blue screen with Unmountable_boot_volume appeared. Hit F8 and all options on the screen end up back at the blue screen.
Can anyone tell me what this is & what to do ?
Thanks
Check the connectors to the Hard drive. Make sure they are tight.
You may have a bad hard drive.
Run diagnostics, and/or call Dell tech support.
Also, try posting in the Hard-drive forum. They may be able to help you a lot more than I can. Good luck!!

Make sure you don't have a floppy disk or a CD in your Floppy Disk Drive or your CD ROM. Sometimes, the PC will attempt to boot from those.
Also, make sure that your Hard-drive is set as the first boot device in your BIOS.
