Upgrade computers PSU?
Hi I would like to upgrade my computers PSU. My computer is a dell vostro 220. It currently has a 300w power supply. Can someone give me a link to a good 400 - 500 w power supply that will work with my dell vostro 220.

You can use most generic standard ATX power supply units, with either a 24-pin or 20+4-pin main motherboard power connector, with or without the on/off switch.
You should be able to buy a compatible power supply from either a local or online computer store.
Note: For the Vostro 220 Mini Tower, a power supply with four SATA power connectors is needed.
Check out the Antec Earthwatts PSU's, shown HERE

Yes, the older Dell systems used a proprietary power supply, as does several of the newer systems, but the Vostro 220 MT is not one of them.
