PCI or PCI Express X1 only - i.e., low end.

Some PCI slot cards to consider. None of which are barn burner, but better than the integrated video chip you now have.....

also do i have to do that thing where u disable ur other vid card that came wit the cpu?

July 25th, 2007 04:00

so that pretty much means i can just go to circutcity tomorrow and buy a 5500 and it will work with my E310, someone said something about it needing a 3.3v PCi slot and my specs said its a 2.3, what in the world does he mean by that?

July 25th, 2007 16:00

I got a pci card but you also got a pci express x1 ( not pci express x16 ok) got that. Has anyone got one of those on the E310/3100 ?

You got to get a card with two cuts in it that means it a universal card for the pci slot. like the pci modem if you take that out of the slot and you know what your doing. READ instructions first, press power button for 10 secs when PC is turned off, then put the card in, you got to disable integrated graphics first though.

If you look here at these pci cards you can see the two cuts in one of the photots, make sure you get a card that in a review they had it in the same pc then it would work. :)
