USB Challenge
I have an Inspiron 530s Desktop that I'm running Vista on and my USB ports are not recognizing my thumb drives.
Does anyone know of any possible fixes?

You can try using different USB ports, like the rear ports.
Also, try assigning drive letters. If any storage is missing drive letters, they can't be accessed via Computer. Follow the link for reference:

I have experienced the same with the rear ports as well, but wasn't aware of assigning letters.
I will try that, thank you very much for the suggestion!
