using the A drive

Hi, This may sound dumb, but... I just got this Dell 4500 with Widows XP, and I dont know how to save to the A Drive.  How do I do this simple task?. Thanks to Everyone.

I am sure that in time I will have more questions to ask.

Buddy210,
Saving to a floppy disk in Windows XP is no different than in Windows 95, 98 or ME. In whatever application you have open click File | Save As and select the floppy drive from the Save in: drop-down menu.

If you don't see the A drive, click on My Computer and then you will see it.

Hi,

You can use the Help & Support Center, that's part of XP [Go to Start to locate it] for information about this. But you can make a copy by, Right clicking on the file or document > Click on " Send to " and select "31/2" Floppy (A:)
