video display problems
i recently had to redownload drivers into my computer and i did the ones dell recommended and my video display is generic now.its missin graphics, not showin some pictures, it has no background color all in my web browsing and i tryed 3 different web browers such as internet explorer,firefox, and safari and there all like that. i've tryed everything possible when it comes to changing the video display in my control panel i mean everything and nothin works. can people please tell me what the hell i have to do if u no what im talkin bout. THANKS

It's important to mention your operating system and model computer when asking a question. Also mention what you mean by redownloading drivers. Did you you reinstall Windows? Are you sure you installed the correct drivers? Not all the drivers in your download list will be appropriate for your hardware. You need to know exactly what hardware you have by checking the Hardware Device Mgr. Read this_article. about reinstalling windows and pay attention to the correct order of installing drivers, chipset and desktop system software--if you have XP.
