Video hardware that old does not have the memory to display True Color with today's large monitors.

If you had a desktop, you could update to a PCI video card like the Zotac GT 610, but there's no way to update the graphics hardware of old laptops.

Yes, I brought the RAM card off of Amazon.com and it might solve it or I'll get a new video card.

 Hello, I installed the RAM card and I keep getting the scrolling thing (video or display problem) after I turned on the computer when I installed the RAM card. This picture can be seen here.

If it works after the memory is installed, the memory would appear to be incompatible.

Thanks, I thought it was compatible for this PC and it is not. You can see the RAM card that I brought off of amazon.com here which I thought it will work and reed the description of the item.
