web site access problem???

I have tried all evening to connect to the web site where I order my personal checks however the only page it will let me pull up is the home page when I click on the link to access personal checks/ordering it gives me a "page cannot be displayed" message I have never had this trouble with this site before until now..aol support tried everything they knew to make sure my settings for aol browser security and the such were set up correctly all of which did not work ..my sister just purchased the same dell pc as I did and was online when I was I IM'd her to give her the web site and see if she could pull it up which she did and was able to access all links to it...so Why can I not pull up the links within the web site ???? Please help I'm so frustrated :(

Just a thought.....are you trying to use AOL's browser to get into the site? If so, try using the external one instead, IE or Netscape if that's what you have. Or have your sister send the link to you, if you can then open it, save to favorites.......sometimes links go bad/corrupt on AOL and they have to been reset.

Hope that helps,
Aka

Thank you for responding ...we tried all that and it still wouldn't bring me to the link...someone else told me it might be because I was using the aol browser instead of IE or Netscape browser...I have never had that problem before with that particular site and aol browser but guess I will try pulling it up with my IE and see what happens ...Thanks again

Make sure that your browser is 128 bit so it can access secure sites. If you are using IE click on tools/privacy and set the slider at around MED High.
