What Model?
This may be a silly question but I am stuck. I have an XPS I bought about 3 years ago from the outlet site and I now need a wireless card for it. Problem is I cannot remember what model it is nor can I find anywhere on the machine that will tell me this. Can anyone direct me if there is an easy way to figure this out. Thank you.

You can buy any wireless card or external usb wireless adapter. Best to get one that matches your wireless router. You don't need a model name. Open the computer up and see if you have a slot for an internal card or just get an external one. Your current network adapters will be listed in Device Manager.
If you have win 7, Devices and Printers will list your computer model name or you can use your service tag at Dell Support to find it. Keep your tag private and do not post in the forum. Simple way-- Open System Information and it will list your model.

Thank you very much. That does make it easier.
