Win2000 and IE java can't not load

I had win 2000 and IE 6.0 but everytime if the webpage has Java applet then I can't load it up. I tried install SP2 then my PC kept rebooting. I need to uninstall SP2 from safe mode in order to get my PC working. Please help!

I once had the SP2 with Windows 2000 and I had more problems with it than without it. I do not recommend using it unless you need the features that it "fixes." It seems logical that your problem is related to the SP2. Locating the exact problem will be very hard ...

It didn't work since i've IE 5 and that's why i upgrade to IE 6. It was working fine for a little while. Somehow after i installed the SP2 and uninstall the SP2, then it's not working!

Microsoft just announced that it WILL not have Java in Windows XP. So, since you have IE 6.0 (which is a beta for XP) ... Java is not likely to work at all.
