smizell,

There is no easy way to "upgrad" to Windows 2000. You will have to format your hard disk and reinstall the new operating system from scratch. Before you embark on that process, though, make sure that there are Win2K drivers for all of your peripherals. (With a system as new as an 8100, that should not be a problem, but better safe than sorry.)

Would like to upgrade to Win XP (hear Dell will be installing it by June). Running Win ME now on a Dell 4100. Anyone hear of any problems with the Win XP upgrades. Would hate to reinstall everything if only a clean boot works.
