windows error message load needed dlls kernel

Question

i got this message when booting up so i tried a full restore of windows xp , now when windows tries to set up it gets as far as the Machine . Inf file then tells me it cannot load it what do i do now ? this is for a dimension 8250

Hi   Have you used shadow copy? or have you just tried to restore using a windows cd?

no have just tried to reinstall from disk Dell sent with computer

formatted hard drive then tried to load windows xp home gets to the machine .inf file then tells me cannot load it so now what do i do ?
