Windows Loading Problem

Okay, when I start my ocmputer up(or even restart) when it starts loading all the windows icons and everying, not where it has the big windows icon, but where you see your desktop. Well, it will freeze there and wont load the res of the stuff for a minute or so. This does not happen all the time, it seems random to me, but i does happen and I dont really like seeing this happen. I have been reading some of the posts here and I really havnt found much about this problem. I did try getting the ad-adware program to get rid of spyware but it did nothing, I only have things running that are necessary on startup but this problem still happens. Any help would be greatly appreciate any help. Thank you.

I think I understand your problem is to be with the icons not loading properly. This happens when they become corrupt. You can go to this link and this will fix your problem.Windows will recognize the prompt and recreate the icons for you when you reboot your pc. http://support.dell.com/us/en/kb/document.asp?DN=1011916

Sounds like an application you installed recently is trying to load up when you start. But I have seen many times there are a bunch of programs loading up at once when you startup in reality there are only 3-4 things need.

Go to Run type in MSCONFIG and hit enter. Then select sartup tap on top. Uncheck the applications you recently added and take out (UnCheck) Anything you don't need for startup. All will still run and work only instead of preloading on startup you will need to get it from the Progam list insteadof the mini task bar on the lower right corner.

Try it and you will see a 300% increase in loading and the over all speed in your system
