WINMX

Only had my Dimension 8200 2 days but i keep getting a blue error page popping up now and again which forces me to reboot.I have WINMX running most of the time and wondered if this is causing the problem.Any ideas?????????

Tommy,
I just installed WINMX a couple of weeks ago, and am having the same problem infrequently, running an 8100 with ME. I just went to their chat channel for help, and it was suggested to change timeout values in settings. Will it help? Don't know, but can always change back.

Many people are having problems with WinMX 3.1 running under WindowsXP. Find a copy of the previous version (WinMX 2.6). It's much more stable under XP.

anyone have this problem?  like a week all was good and when id search id get a bunch of results and like in the chat area there was a bunch of diffrent rooms and stuff, and now i get very few results and theres nothing at all in teh chat area and also after about 1 min of being in WinMX i always get an error and it says program not responding, and it takes like 5 min to finally get out of the program, anyone help me on this one?>
