XPS 400 Processor Issue?
I have two computer systems. One is my Dell XPS 400 and the other is a system that I built myself. I did a 3dMark03 test on both systems. My score for the Dell was a little higher overall, but my question is why did my CPU score on my built computer beat my Dell? Is there a possibility my dual core is not working? My computer specs for each system are below. Here are my scores: XPS 400: 11971 Total Score 896 CPU Score (CPU Test 1= 95.2, CPU Test 2= 16.7) Built: 11343 Total Score 944 CPU Score (CPU Test 1= 111.5, CPU Test 2= 15.7) When I look at the CPU charts on tomshardware.com, the Pentium D 930 out preforms the AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 2.2 GHz on the 3DMark06 CPU test by a score of 1521 to 875. I have it on dual core in by BIOS. Could there be anything else?
