The info you printed says the native resolution is 1280x800, not 900. Therefore you can not get to a 900 pixel resolution.

The D620 had an option for a higher-resolution screen, which you don't have -- and whatever you used for diagnostics isn't all that reliable.  SEC is Samsung, not Seiko-Epson.

go online and enter your service tag and look up original configuration.  You will see what resolution your system was purchased with.  To go to a higher resolution requires buying a different LCD display and I don't know if Dell will do that or not.

You're not listening to the replies.  You have a 1200X800 screen - if you want 1440X 900, you must replace the display panel.

If you look up the specs for your panel with Samsung, you will see.
