1530 NVIDIA Failures

I have XPS 1530, nice machine...except the NVIDIA driver has failed (BSOD) and no matter what version of the drivers I use it refuses to work. I followed some excellent advice from other posts regarding this known issue and at least managed to install a standard VGA driver! I've removed the driver completely using Driver Sweeper, downloaded latest from LaptopVideo2Go etc. which all goes well except when I reboot and finish the installation; after which I get the BSOD again! Any help or advice would be appreciated!
