640C video driver installation problem
I am attempting to update my video driver. I found the right one and downloaded it to my desktop. When I double-clicked on it, it disappeared without any installation screen coming up that I could see (something came up briefly but disappeard again so quickly I couldn't tell what it was). When I click "open" in the "downloads" window of Firefox, a dialogue box tells me that the file has moved.
I tried looking in my temporary internet files. I tried deletin my temporary internet files. I tried updating my BIOS (same problem there--I can't install it either). I tried using Internet Explorer instead of Firefox. I tried shutting down my firewall and spyware software.
I am running Windows 2000 Professional. My video card is a Mobility Radeon 7500C, the driver is M7.
