I too am having problems with Dell's M5030 laptop. Its about 1 1/2 year old. Wasn't having any problems until I to turn it on and got the 7 beep code and a blank screen. Tried removing battery and rebooting, no change. With all the same complaints from customers who have laptops about the same age I would think it would be obvious to Dell that it isn't a problem cause by the customer, but an engineering problem or defective parts.
Well I did send him my information. How long after you sent that information did you get a reply ? Cause the issue i am having is def the same thing. And you and I are not the only ones having it. Its def a problem from the MFG that dell should cover !!!!!
After I posted my info it was about 4 or 5 days, before I got a msg. from Royan indicating he was sending a technician by to work on my laptop. Couldn't fix at my residence, so Dell told me to send to their repair depot. They fixed and returned to me. In process loss info on hard drive, but luckily I had saved my personal info on another laptop.
Royan, I saw your post regarding the beep code.
