Sorry for the blank message. I've had my new 9300 for a few days and noticed a puzzling problem. I've the WUXGA running at full resolution (1920x1200) with the nvidia 6800. The problem has to do with the fact that, on any given webpage, there are sections where words and characters appear jagged or fuzzy. But other sections on the same page look fine.

This problem is not evident if I am viewing other screens (i.e., not webpages). I tried to experiment with other resolutions and fonts, but nothing worked so far.

I am wondering whether other people also have had this experience with the 9300. What could be the cause of this problem? Many thanks.

Have you checked your Display Properties by right clicking on the desktop and selecting Properties, going to Settings, clicking on the Advanced button, and checking your DPI Setting in the General Tab?

Not sure if using 120dpi will cause the problems you're experiencing, but its worth a shot! :)

A few have posted about this problem and going with the 96 DPI instead of the 120 will help, however, the font size will be small.  This is a price you pay for that screen WUXGA screen, and if your eyes cannot handle the smaller fonts, than maybe you should think of another screen, WXGA

Or you'll just have to endure either the tiny text or the messed up spacing/images until the next version of Windows comes out. I know Microsoft said they were going to address the issue finally in Longhorn... but this problem with the messed up image scaling has plagued windows since its earliest incarnation... :P

Well I guess we'll see when Longhorn is finally released...!

Thanks for the help, folks. Lowering the dpi does help, but it is a major tax on the eye.
