so does that mean that no one can help? i'm thinking something is horribly wrong...i can't even log onto msn pages/messenger w/my net passport. and my activex thing still pops up.
Although I haven't run into this particular problem myself, I can suggest the following:
From internet explorer... 1 - click "Tools" menu and select "Options" 2 - Click the Security tab along the top. 3 - Select the icon that says "Restricted Sites" 4 - Click the "Sites..." button.
Perhaps the web pages you're trying to use are listed there? If so, delete them.
If that doesn't work, you can try this too... 1 - Click the "Internet" icon 2 - Click the "Custom Level..." button 3 - Scroll the list and find the item that says "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" 4 - Set it to "Enable"
Beyond that there's not much more I can suggest. It's kind of a difficult problem to help solve without being in front of the computer. Good luck!!!
