I got the same problem with SC2. The drivers Dell uses do not work. They are about 8 months old now and have many bugs AMD has fixed.
A workaround for this is to disable xfire & everything works fine for me.
I am current trying to work out how to make the ATI driver work without getting blue screen on start up. So far I can install ATI drivers from the AMD website & everything runs perfect unless I unplug AC power. I think the fix to this is disabling switchable graphics. Do you know where I can find the option to do this?

I assume you have two 5870 graphic cards.
