Alienware m17x processor upgrade.
I have recently purchased an alienware m17x laptop and am looking to upgrade the processor, currently i have an
Intel® Core™ i5 Processor 540M(2.53GHz,3MB cache),
however i would like to upgrade to a better processor. Would this be possible and, if i paid for the service would dell or a technician be able to do it for me.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it is possible - but it is not supported by Dell, and will void your warranty -- if that's a concern.
