Almost Black Screen

Question

I have an Insprion 5150 with a Geforce GO 32Meg card. For no reason my laptop screen is very very dark (almost completely black). I tried on an external monitor and there is no problem, everything is ok on it. Any idea?

Seeing that everything works correctly on your external monitor then it is more than likely there is a problem with your LCD backlight or inverter.

If that is the case then it is a job best left to an LCD specialist.
