ALPS touchpad vs Logitech mouse drivers
I have a new Latitude D820. I use a Logitech optical wheel mouse with side thumb button when docked, and the touchpad when portable. With the Dell ALPS driver, I can't use the thumb button on the Logitech mouse. With the Logitech driver, many necessary touchpad features don't work. I want the machine to switch between the ALPS and Logitech drivers automatically — but there doesn't seem to be any way to install multiple mouse drivers, except to manually uninstall/reinstall. (Unacceptable.) HALP! :smileymad:
