Anybody using Monster Cable ScreenClean?

Hey everybody. I have a couple of buddies who are using a screen cleaner by Monster Cable (see above topic heading) and I was wondering if it is probably safe to use on my 5100 as well as my FPV1403 monitor? The reason I ask is because in both, my FPV manual and 5100 manual it says to use water to clean the screen  and I wonder if this cleaner might screw up the screens. I know my buddies use it on their laptops and the screen looks AWESOME, but I am just wondering if it could have a negative effect if used for a long period of time. Also,in the cleaner pkg there is a small notice that clearly states that if "your documentation says to use soap and water,or no cleaners,DO NOT use Screen Clean". SInce my documentation states neither (well, the water part),I was just looking for some reassurance before I experiment and possibly screw something up. Thanks, luces.

I know of no LCD manfacturer that would tell people to use SOAP and water, which would leave a film.

The only reason to use anything other than water is to spend money unnecessarily.  I've had laptops since 1996, and have ALWAYS cleaned with water and a soft cloth.

Keep in mind that if you do damage the screen, that's not covered by warranty.

I use Monster Cable shampoo, nutritional supplements, designer underwear, and I have them do my taxes. Life is just so much better with Monster Cable, I don't know how the other half lives.
