Arabic character Error

If you open the character map, start, all programs, accessories, system tools, character map, and select from the drop down menu your Arabic Font, can you insert it that way?

Also look at trying Open Office, they have many languages and it works like Microsoft Office but it's FREE.

A couple of questions.

Did you download and install an Arabic Font to use?

What type of program are you using to write the Arabic Document?

Yes , I have already downloaded the arabic fonts . and it works for all letters except this character "ذ"  .

Iam using Microsoft Word 2007 now .  but it also doesn't work even with Notebad or any text editor

It works using the charachter map .  but still doesn't work with Open Office .

No problem. I have help another person with another language and he was able to use Open Office and Mozilla Thunderbird in his language to wite with and send his emails. I just got an email from him the other day and he is doinf fine and sometimes he still asks for those links, guess that's what happens when you get old like me and him. Just glad you can use the characters you want. I found that copy and pasting works wonders.

it's above the "Tab" left to the "1" characters, but it is not printed out; it is the same character as (`) when turned into arabic,,,
