B130 Diagnostic Error Codes

My dell b130 was working perfect last night. Today I turned it on and the meter bar sticks at about one inch. I was finally able (once) to do the diagnostic test. When doing the audio test 2 error messages came up with the numbers 6563:0268 and 6563:0667 Would these errors prevent my computer from loading up and also how can these errors be fixed? Remember I cannot get into the setup. I was very lucky to get into once but have tried at least 3 dozen times to get into the setup screen but can't!

Jimco. It is strange! I touched the corner where the HD activity light was and the windows started loading up! As long as I kept pressure on that corner it would run but when I removed my hand the HD would quit! I turned the laptop over and tightened the srews that hold the bottom base and the palmrest together and it works perfect! Strangest thing I ever heard of! After that I ran the diagnostic tests and there were no errors! Have you ever heard of anything like this before? I had just installed a mobo a couple of days ago and must not have gotten the srews tight enough?

I don't know the meaning of those specific codes. If you were using Dell Diagnostics interactive test and the test asked you a question to which you answered no, the test will generate a code that tells a technician which question was answered no. An audio problem isn't likely to cause boot up difficulty, but could be a symptom of other problems like hard drive failure.

Have you tried System Restore?

I haven't heard of anything like that. Glad it's working.
