Base System Device Missing!!! Please Help!!!
Hi Friends,
In my Device Manager, i'm getting notified with drivers missing. It seems "Base System Device" is missing but I have gone through few of the posts in our Dell community but it didn't help me. I have installed Chipset and Ricoh memory card drivers in my laptop but still I'm getting the same notification.
I hope someone could really help me. Please note I'm attaching the screenshot of Device manager and the missing Hardware ID's.
Thanks n Regards,
J e s h u

No one's going to be able to help much without knowing:
What model system?
What operating system? Version? 32 bit or 64 bit?
Did you install the Dell notebook system software?

Hi... Sorry... I forgot that part!!
My system is Dell Studio XPS 1645. I have installed Windows 7 on my system and it's a 64 bit. Can you please tell me what is Dell notebook system software?
Cheers!

I didn't get any answer, but its related to bluetooth/memory card reader driver. I have rectified it by right clicking on that and scanned for hardware change. Then I gave the path manually where my bluetooth and memory card drivers are placed. It got installed successfully. :-)
I think you need to select an option called ActiveSync when installing this!!
