Battery
Hello.......i have a question....i have dell inspiron n4050....i want to know that is there any way to switch the laptop between battery charging and direct plugged in from the socket....i mean when the battery is fully charged, i want the laptop to stop the charging (as i dont want to lose my battery in case of over charging) and become direct with the adapter just like a normal PC power supply without removing the battery.....thanks in advance.... :-)

Welcome to the Community,
System automatically stops supplying power to your battery once it is fully charged.So even if the battery is fully charged and the AC adapter is plugged in the battery does not get overcharged.
