Bios Admin Password

Question

Hi, I have (Inspiron 1545) and the bios is locked with (Admin password) and I can not do any changes and have no idea about the password, is there a default company password I can use to re-setup the bios, please? Thanks in advance   Note: I tried removing the bios battery and the bios went back to the default, but the password still there. thank you again

You must call Dell - upon proof of ownership you will be assisted. There is no generic password -- and note that if you are out of warranty, you must call for out of warranty support, which is pay-per-incident -- NOT free of charge.

I have a dell studio 1535 bought in Romania from an online store. I also need to reset the password from Bios> Security> Admin password. Please help

Once you've registered the system in your name with Dell, call them - upon proof of ownership, they will assist you.

yeah if you pay them..   Once your computer warranty expires they won't give you the information unless you pay them a fee.  It's call e-extortion
